Our aim on these guest pages is to answer your questions and give you ideas about the topics you need to consider.

The members site

You can use the members site in various ways:

• as a "just-in time" resource: a place to find information and advice on your current questions as a new manager. You may find the alphabetical index page useful for this, and the mini-scenarios that deal with specific situations or questions.
• as a structure for planning your own development as a manager. The self-assessment and development pages with links to specific topics will help you with this.
• as an information and advice site for your first four months as a manager, using situations that often occur for new managers.
• as a planning and strategic site for you to manage the business of your team, helping you to look at your goals and targets, and at how you and your team fit into the overall work of the organisation
